Ingredients

Instructions

  • Rim a margarita glass with salt.
  • Add the Clase Azul tequila, Cointreau, and fresh lime juice to a cocktail shaker.
  • Add ice and shake for several seconds.
  • Strain the mixture into the margarita glass with the salted rim and ice.
  • Garnish with lime wheels, edible flowers, and edible gold leaves for a fancy, elegant touch to your drink.

Notes

  • If you prefer a sweeter drink, a touch of agave nectar or simple syrup can do the trick.
  • Since Clase Azul is an expensive tequila, we suggest using other quality ingredients to create a premium margarita experience.
Use a lime wedge to moisten the rim of your margarita glass. Then, turn the glass upside down before dipping it on a small plate with kosher salt, or coarse sea salt. Set aside until the drink is ready. Or read: How to Salt a Margarita Glass Rim Properly.
